    Download Scripts for Mac OSX and Linux

    Mac OSX

    Although the latest version of OSX (currently 10.3, aka Panther) comes with Perl 5.8.1 by default, it lacks some of the Perl modules needed to run the download script. We recommend that you install Bundle::LWP, which contains all the necessary modules.

    perl camel logoYou can find instructions on how to download and install Perl modules at http://softwaregarden.com/products/servertest/macperlsetup.html. Once you have the modules installed, download our package, which includes the Perl script and instructions. You will also need to download the latest versions of the PDA software from the Roundpoint website.

    Linux

    tux the linux penguinThe script has been tested on a recent Red Hat-based distribution (Mandrake 9.2); other users may need to download and install Bundle::LWP from CPAN.
